I’m a performer, choreographer, and teacher interested in interdisciplinary and cross-cultural explorations. I'm also a poet and an academic, and that defines a huge part of my persona. I love creating around traditions, transitions, rituals, and transgressions, and writing about somatic experiences, decolonisation, and migration in/through movement. Although trained in Bharatanatyam, I am captivated by and enjoy learning other movement practices across the world.

I speak, read, and write Tamil, Telugu, English and Hindi, and am learning Dutch and French.
